My baby girl is ONE! I am still in shock at how fast this first year went. We took Kennadi to Disneyland on her actual birthday (read the post here) and had her party the following day.
I have always loved planning birthdays, showers, really any event. It was no different with her first birthday. Way before I was even pregnant, I saw on Pinterest the Alice in Wonderland 1st birthday theme and fell in love. I decided if I ever had a girl, that would be her first birthday party theme so I stuck to it! I personally loved doing pastel colors instead of the typical blue, black and white checkered you usually see.
My biggest fear with a January birthday in California was rain. Well, we ended up getting insane hurricane winds! The morning of the party, we had to rearrange to make everything fit inside due to the wind.
I want to give a special mention to The Bounce Bungalow. We had an amazing collaboration set up but unfortunately, it was not possible because of the severe winds. Jules was amazing to talk with and we can’t wait to use The Bounce Bungalow next year for her 2nd birthday. Moms local to Southern California, make sure to inquire for your next event. The white bounce houses are adorable!!
