I’m a regular Mom, just like you, who was searching for more. Let me rewind and tell my story.
I have always been about education and my career and a “check the box” type of girl:
Go to college
Go to graduate school
Start working full time
Buy a house
Start our family
So, if you would have told me years ago that I would be cutting down hours to stay home more and pursue my online side hustles, I would have laughed in your face and said “I will never be that girl.” I have stopped checking the boxes. Instead of going back to work full time, I started exploring other streams of income and started to diversify.
But what I have learned is you can’t put a dollar sign on time. Since becoming a Mom, I slowly started working less. It wasn’t worth it to pay for someone else to raise our kids. And I genuinely loved being home.
As I cut down my hours at work, I slowly started building my online businesses. And I watched them grow with putting in minimal effort and kept wondering what would happen if I truly put in 110%.
I had used Rodan and Fields products for 6 months before I said yes to the business. I watched other women succeed and earn a full time income from it. I figured I had nothing to lose but everything to gain.
I have zero sales experience, I have never even worked a retail job in my lifetime. I am an Introvert and I am no social media expert. If I can make something of this, so can you. But you will never know unless you try.
Just a Mom who is determined to keep the neutral aesthetic, even in the playroom 💁🏻♀️

I set the goal this year to be more intentional and present aka, s l o w d o w n.
I have always thrived in the state of constantly hustling. Everyone asks me how I do it all. So sometimes I think it’s just a me thing. But then I look around society and realize it’s likely everyone. I see people rushing daily.
At some point, the priority of just simply raising our kids and being present slipped away. The rat race of society shifted the priorities. Now, we are expected to do it all. Whether that’s societal expectations or our own, there is an inevitable pressure.
I don’t have the solution but I think being committed to small changes will eventually impact our society and generations to come.
So, I say all of this as a reminder that it’s OKAY to slow down Mama, myself included 🤍
Happy Birthday to my best friend and other half. I still vividly remember celebrating your 18th birthday 14 years ago and each year has gotten better and better. Celebrating you is my favorite. I love you @munger_3 ♥️
