As a Mom, it is so easy to get overwhelmed by all the options out there for baby products. I learned with Kennadi that we had purchased way too much and we didn’t end up using a lot that we had. As a second-time Mom, I know what my favorite top baby products are and wanted to share some of them below!
Troy has extremely sensitive skin! I am not exaggerating when I say we tried 10+ different soaps and lotions before finding ones he didn’t react to. One of my favorites that I use daily with Troy is Baby Magic’s Creamy Baby Oil. His skin and scalp are both extremely dry and the Creamy Baby Oil is insanely moisturizing. It feels like a lotion but it is actually a combination of coconut oil and a gentle lotion to help soothe dry skin. Creamy Baby Oil is affordably priced and can be found at select Walmart stores and Walmart.com.
Have you ever struggled to calm your little one? Honestly, this is the hardest part of parenting for me. One thing I learned that almost always improves Troy’s mood is music. Kennadi was the same way as well! I always say, “when in doubt, play it out loud” and turn on a playlist on my phone. I have tried many of the playlists out there and my go to is the Disney Lullaby playlist. It features lullabies and instrumentals of your favorite Disney songs. It helps us with nap time and is family-friendly, allowing all of us to relax. It is available on all streaming platforms!
Every parent I know owns a million different toys. I have become very particular with the toys in our house; if they aren’t engaging or educational; I have donated them. My absolute favorite brands is Fat Brain Toys. We own so many of their toys but I wanted to highlight two specific toys; the InnyBin and Dimpl Billow & Bright.
The InnyBin is a shape sorting box that encourages fine motor skills, tactile exploration, and experimentation. The Dimpl Billow and Bright is a set of two sensory toys (Troy’s current favorites) that feature silicone bubbles, bright colors, and a mirror. Fat Brain Toys has the best early learning toys that allow for open-ended play. They have the best gifts for babies and top toys for 1 year olds! You can save 14% off one toy with code “FBT14” for their Valentine’s Day Special.
Okay, let’s talk about baby shoes. I personally don’t think outfits are complete without shoes BUT it is so hard to find shoes that don’t just fall right off! Stonz Yale baby shoes are soft-sole, breathable and have a stretchy cuff making it easy to slip on and ensures they will stay put! Stonz shoes are made of vegan materials and fits 0-24 months. You can save 10% off select soft-sole baby shoes with code “BBOXX10.”
My husband and I both loved when Kennadi got to start purees! We truly enjoyed every minute of making homemade purees for her and we cannot wait for Troy to start solids here shortly. We never found a blender we really loved when we made Kennadi’s first foods but we are so excited to use the First Years blender and steamer! It is the perfect baby food maker for baby led weaning. It is a multi-function baby food maker that steams and blends foods to a custom consistency for your little one. We have been using it for smoothies with Kennadi and are so excited to start steaming and blending foods for Troy!
If you were able to find a bottle that your baby loved on first try, you are incredibly lucky! It has taken us several bottles for both of our babies before figuring out which one was the best. For Troy, we are currently loving the Boon Nursh silicone pouch bottles. The silicone is BPA free and designed for little hands to hold. These bottles are anti colic as the design allows for air free feeding. I love how innovative these bottles are! They aren’t just bottles but instead, a whole system. The lids can be used as snack cups and the nipples can be swapped out for other lids transforming the bottles into sippy cups and straw cups as your baby gets older.
This is the perfect accessory for your Boon Nursh bottles! This drying rack includes a non-slip silicone mat with an accessory cup and wire rack. The 7 prong rack allows you to dry baby bottles and sippy cups but also wine glasses! It’s a stylish drying rack that will look aesthetically pleasing on anyone’s kitchen counter.
These are a few of my must have top baby products! As always, comment or message me with any questions! I would love to hear if you have used any of these or plan on purchasing; comment below to let me know.
